Mezzanine nets, home rope-work, guardrails, safety, indoor hammocks or an outdoor decorating trend — « the net is establishing itself as a refined and stylish fashion piece » (almwarchitectures).
This year, « no more linen curtains or airy sheers: the trend is the « fishing net » » says Le Journal de la Maison. Catamaran nets, easy to install, lightweight and highly durable, are fitted like a reassuring suspended ceiling. « It fits just as well into modern construction projects as into older houses » (La Maison des Travaux).
In the garden, railings, guardrails, shade nets or nets for climbing plants are appearing across apps and decor websites.
On the fashion side, ELLE magazine announced the net-bag trend: « It was seen notably at Balenciaga, autumn-winter 2025 collection, Emporio Armani (…) in pop colours, from neon green to intense purple » and also Stella McCartney. Openwork materials, meshes, patterns for bags, clothing and even shoes, the maritime reference is embraced as at Fendi and Burberry.
